Apologetics Project

After talking to people with Trevor about abortion, religion, the Bible, etc., I've heard a lot of very stupid things.:

"Death is just a part of life."

"I don't like the word 'real'."

"There are no absolutes."

"You're not allowed to video tape or interview anyone without prior permission [in the mall]."

"[Abortion] can't be murder because [the baby] is not by itself."

One guy told us murder's okay if you think it's the right thing to do. I wonder if he'd say that at gunpoint.

One girl told us the afterlife is whatever you want it to be. Even after I asked her if I would to go be with Orville Redenbacher forever eating popcorn if I wanted to.

Yikes, guys. You're bad enough, and you're going to teach your kids the same thing.

Hello, church. What are you doing about this? Building a churchified skatepark? A sermon series based on the Beatles? Oh, that'll help. Yeah, I guess the Gospel really isn't relevant enough. Forgiveness of sins? Pffft, who needs it? But, ummm, do you think you could stop giving people a false taste of the real Church so we crazy fundamentalists can actually cure the disease?
